Since India Blogs 1.0 decided that my blog fell under the category of “music”, this page will contain all forays, endeavours and stumbling attempts into music. I couldn’t honestly leave the question mark out though.
In December’2005, me and 3 colleagues of mine decided to spend a large amount of dollars buying expensive musical gear in the vain hope that it will somehow magically transform us into path breaking musicians. It did not. But we had fun. We called ourselves Plus 2 Pass and even had the gall to record an entire album during our stay in San Antonio, TX.
You can listen to our songs here (Update: The song links on stage.fm seem to having some problems. Will fix it later over the weekend. Till then plisxcuse.)
In May’2006, back in Chennai for good, I decided to experiment a bit more in alternative genres and recorded a few solo pieces.
You can listen to my solo (cough cough) compositions here
Having mostly scribbled in random diaries and assorted pieces of paper with little or no interest in saving them for posterity, the blogosphere exerted a strange pull in April’2007 when I turned 30. (Yes. I am old). Thus was born this blog and a series of further forays in musical experimentation for the sole purpose of questionable humour.

I think it would be wonderful if you can list all the musical instruments you have. I myself have a few, ok, only in single digits. Thanks

Hey Ashok… I’m a little dense .. what does recorded on Garageband mean? Does that mean you have uploaded songs there, or that you used some software from there that you used to mix your music. I play the guitar, and I’m looking for some software that I could use to add some beats and loops to my songs.
