The Avatar Chronology
July 25th, 2008: After a traumatic period of darkness when I lost access to both my gmail account and my blog, WordPress put a smile back on my face by restoring access to my blog.
July 21st, 2008: Nature decided to attend its call today. It was pouring for most of the day in Toronto, thus forcing us to stay indoors. So I finished Portal, and really felt bad for my weighted companion cube. But I did kill GLaDOS.
July 16th, 2008: Niagara Falls from the Canadian side is an amaklamatically spectacular sight to behold. It will remain etched in my eyes forever.
July 9th, 2008: Off to Toronto, Ontario, Canada (pronounced in the local tongue as Tronto, Onteiryo, Kuhnayda). For the uninitiated, the two characters in the glasses are Terrance and Philip.

@Ramsu,
That subject deserves a blog of its own. I refuse to trivialize it by pontificating on it in a mere comment
um can u please delete that first comment?
never mind. i have no idea wtf im doing today.
brilliant post that on chennai autos ! Keep going.
Just noticed that you’re featured in the “The Best Blogs in India” from India Blogs 1.0. (http://www.labnol.org/india-blogs/indian-bloggers.html)
Then noticed that you’ve been placed under the “Music” category. While it does say a lot about how much the selectors understand the blog content, it is nevertheless a pleasure.
Because you see, your blog posts are always music to my ears!
Mahendra,
Noticed that. I was wondering why, especially when the only other blog in the music category is pretty much seriously into music, while I just use it for humour (well..attempted humour) purposes
Krishashok –
I took the time to listen to some of your recordings. Transient is particularly…evocative.
And I always love stumbling upon people who make me laugh, keep it up.
aikaterine,
Thank you
pattya kelapunga. the new set of avatars- awesome. though ‘Matter’ and ‘Gilma’ looks similar, i like the idea of visual taxonomy. ‘Jalsa’ ranks the best.
One of the best blogs i have seen. Humorous, witty and at the same time conveying your views across. Keep it up.
Ashok: Thank you very much doc
Respect. That’s all I have to say at the moment

Ashok, Is blogging your full time work?
If I were to write the way like you do, It would take two days for each post.
Amazing work…
Ashok: Actually, I am a part-time, but full-souled blogger, just as I am a full-time but part-souled IT consultant
Your’s is the best blog among all i’ve seen.

the first person to lose a well read
humorous chap when you stop
doing this. so if you can manage

Stumbled onto this blog purely by accident….And haven’t worked since the last hour and a half…sitting in my cubicle and laughing my head off…
Stumbled across you by accident and now I’m hooked. You, my friend, are ridiculously brilliant. Or brilliantly ridiculous. Yes, that’s better
Great maaannnn..!!!
Hey krish,
Im expecting an article…on iphone release in India……..?

You’re bored listening to this by now, but I can’t help but marvel at the ridiculous work of art your mind is!!! I am so glad thoughts like this exist!
You are my constant entertainer when my work looks monochrome. Don’t stop writing!
Hello, Krish rembr me, once I visit ur blog and post some links regarding one site named netglimse?
Ashok: Um. Yes?
If u dont then …we can start it from the scratch again..what say??
Terrific Blog.. Keep it going !!
You know, I just noticed the About section to the right (after months of regular visits to your blog). The entire thing is written in the third person, except for the last line, which reads “I think I am slightly better off at doing the latter.” Making it seem like there’s another guy trying to make a fool of himself before your wife.
Really like your blog…very hilarious. I have added you to my blogroll and feed reader.
Ayyo! Wonly two avatarz aa? Put up da British sightsu mariyu Chen Igh Unreal Estate sightsu kooda.

‘Ola, stumbled here. Had a real good laugh. Am not a blogger and hence will be bookmarking you!
Also, the little
on the almost top right corner is pretty cute, me thinks!
Nice blog. If I may ask, what exactly does “Doing Jalsa and Showing Jilpa” mean??
Ashok: It is explained in the Glossary section
It’s very difficult
NOT to become a fan of your blogs
and that comment was genuine one
not for appraisal thing ..
Wonderful. Hilarious. Entertaining. Thought provoking. How do you manage that in every single post of yours? Brilliant man…

I nearly died laughing when I read your post about Madrasi in New Delhi…
)
bayangara tamashana style of writing…reminds me of vennira aadai moorthi and thengai srinivasan style of talking
Terrence and Philip ??? Wow Great to know you are a South Park Fan . Die hard fan of the Uncle Fucka song
.
I think you shoulf change your name to Gilpa that would sound better
My customer satisfaction index with “Ashok” is comfortably in the “happy” section, so thanks but no thanks
A very creative “About me” page
Well done…
Hei, Nice blog, What an extensive vocabulary, did miss the word “silphons” tough.
Have been ROFLing away due to your blogs for many months now. Amazingly, consistently funny. I too have now started to try my hand at this. You may want to check out http://www.rameshsrivats.net/2008/11/ramadoss-meets-devadoss.html
nuthin more to say after reading ur posts…I am a FAN !!
Krish,
I read your blogout to the kids this morning..about yourself , the radio ads and the punjaabi violin with a pseudo tamil accent….and they and me were howling and falling around till their father came to enqiure about the riot by the comp…and joined us , then and there, to listen to your three tracks, I like trancience best…[ I love cold play madly]and we had a moment of family bonding there…..The really big attraction that drew me to my husband in the first place was that he could keep me laughing from morning till evening without effort….a bit of history lesson there…just keep at what you are doing and your wife will glow every time she thinks of you….hope you are a distance runner. Dude absolutely loved your blog…its our[ the kids and mine] favorite blog though I couldnt get the jalsa and jilpa bit being a non Tamil south Indian. keep updating me on your latest nonsense[pronounced tanglishly]
Ashok:Thank you
fantastic!! the way you using tamil language with english in all the post is nice. i like your way of writing style!!!
..added to blogroll…
smiles
what is jilpa doing jhalsa dear?
pliss explain ..kindly.
Hi Ashok (or is it Krish?),
Absolutely amazing blog you’ve got goin’ here! Been enjoying everything from your kick-ass sense of humor to your musical creations for a bit now, but for whatever reason, only just found the disp. to stop lurking and start commenting!
Must be the new year or somethin’…
Keep up the great work!
Cheers
Ashok: Thanks. It is Ashok, although the last name-first name confusion between south india and the rest of the world has introduced some confusion over the years. So at the moment, I dont really care, Krish or Ashok is fine. My online gaming handle is “SirDinglyDang” so that’s fine too
I just wanna say……….happy fun
keep smile
god night………brother
I notice that you have a small smiley mysteriously embedded in your theme at the top right corner (Please add scales so I can add the latitude and longitudes here).
I’m not the owner of this theme and am thus not gonna sue you for any modifications, but, all i want to say is… nice…
PS: I dunno if the zillion posts have noticed it already, cuz i didn go through em, because of the limitations of effort-rewards relationship…
@Nikhil: Thatz a Universal WordPress Smiley that you’d find in almost every WordPress.com Blog embedded somewhere (differs acc. to the theme)
It is put there by the WordPress Stats plugin…the one that tracks visitors to the blog.

Hey, I liked your post about swamijis and science. You and your readers might like this video that a friend sent me. It’s a Bollywood version of an iTunes spot. Keep up the good work reporting!
